Revolution is a safe and simple monthly topical medication used to protect your pet from heartworms, fleas, and ear mites. It also protects dogs from ticks and sarcoptic mange and cats from roundworms and hookworms.

Revolution for Dogs and Cats

For:

How it works:

Revolution works by penetrating the skin and entering your pet's bloodstream. Concentrations of selamectin, the active ingredient, in the tissue and bloodstream prevent heartworm disease. Selamectin also redistributes into the skin from the bloodstream and kills adult fleas, American dog ticks, and ear mites, and prevents flea eggs from hatching. It is also an anthelmintic, which means it fights to expel parasitic worms. Parasites ingest the drug when they feed on the animal's blood. Revolution is safe for pregnant and lactating pets.

    I purchase the large tube of Revolution ( turquoise box) for dogs. It is the same exact ingredient that is for cats. I squeeze the tube into a glass vial and I apply, topically, with a syringe (amount by weight of cat). My daughter and I have seven feral cats total and this is the least expensive way of keeping fleas, ticks, ear mites etc. off of them. It is best way of application, because if I am not successful in catching one, I can squirt it back in the vial and put the cap on until I can catch the cat at a later time. Be sure to immediately rinse the syringe with water to save the syringe for next use. Sierra is The Best company to order from. I have been ordering from them for three years now. I always order before I run out because it is coming from Australia and my it will take about two or three weeks to get to the US.

    This is a good product for parasite control, and is recommended by my daughter who is in her last year at University of Tennessee vet college. Sierra PetMeds has great service and excellent prices, and I've ordered from them multiple times. Very satisfied every time!

    My rescue uses Revolution for all our rescue dogs & cats. We like using it because it is very effective against fleas, but also treats them for for some intestinal parasites and ear mites. We highly recommend it!

    Our regimen of monthly alternating Revolution and NexGard is truly effective in ensuring our dogs have neither ticks nor fleas nor mites etc., and finding these products for such an excellent price has us purchasing from Sierra Petmeds time and again!!!! Can't be beat!!
